It’s easy to make a Pet Easy-Claim on behalf of your client with our simple-to-use online form.
Pet Easy-Claims of $250 or less can be submitted between 7am-7pm every day. In most cases* the claim can be assessed immediately and you’ll know the outcome almost straight away.
Larger claims are assessed within 30 minutes of receipt between 9:30am–4:30pm on business days (excluding public holidays in Auckland) and payment processed the same day. For claims over $250 submitted outside these hours, we will assess this claim and get back to you on the next business day.

Pet Easy-Claim assessing is faster and more accurate if our customers provide you with the correct policy number and a policyholder name that matches our records. To help avoid delays, we recommend asking the customer to confirm the exact details listed on their Certificate of Insurance or bring it with them when completing the authority form. This certificate is sent to the customer with their Welcome Pack or with their renewal documents.
Ask your client for their policy number – providing this is the easiest way to identify their pet’s policy. You’ll also need to enter your invoice number and upload a copy of your invoice. For claims of $250 or less, we don’t need pet history records – making these smaller claims easier to process and manage.

Any concerns about a claim outcome or how policy has been applied must be raised with us by your client.
Someone authorised by your clinic can submit a request to change the bank account for Pet Easy-Claim payments using this form. Once submitted, we will load the new bank account details within 3 working days, and we’ll send confirmation by email to your clinic that the change has been made.

- If the claims is for $250 or less, in most cases* we’ll assess the claim within just a few minutes 7am-7pm every day, and let you know the outcome.
- For larger claims, we’ll get back to you within 30 minutes on business days (between 9.30am-4.30pm) and pay your clinic direct within 24 hours^
- Your client pays you the remaining balance.
*Subject to any exclusions and the terms and conditions of the policy,
^Subject to required information being supplied at the point of claim, where treatment is covered and during operational hours when this service is available.
