This Supplement Schedule (Schedule) forms part of  your PetCare policy  and should be read in conjunction with  your policy  document. Terms that are in italics, like this have specific meanings as defined in  your policy  document (or in this Schedule).

About the Southern Cross Pet Insurance Supplement Schedule (Schedule)

The Schedule sets out the supplements covered by  your PetCare policy. For a supplement to be covered by  your policy, it must be listed in section 2 below and meet the eligibility criteria set out in section 3 below.

What supplements we cover

The following supplements are  eligible provided that they are prescribed by  your vet  as part of a   qualifying treatment. We  will not reimburse  you  for any supplements that you purchase without a prescription from  your vet.

Reimbursement is subject to any applicable   annual benefit limit,  excess  and   co-payment  noted in  your  certificate of insurance  and the terms and conditions of  your policy:

Important points to note

  • The terms and conditions set out in  your policy  apply to this Schedule (which forms part of your policy).
  • We  can vary this Schedule at any time, including making updates to provide more clarity for  you  or varying or restricting the  eligible supplements.
    • Where  we  make a clarification or add  eligible supplements to this Schedule, we  will not contact  you  directly, but will update this Schedule on  our  website.
    • Where  we  remove or restrict  eligible supplements, we  will provide  you  with 30 days’ notice of the change.
  • Your  annual benefit limit, excess and co-payment  (as set out on your certificate of insurance ), will still apply to claims for  eligible supplements.
